Illinois App Visualization Competes in Big 10 Academic Alliance Championship

A dashboard summarizing Illinois app usage is the university’s entry for this year’s Big 10 Academic Alliance Data Visualization Championship. Submitted by Cameron Schwing—a data analyst in the Office of the Chief Information Officer—the dashboard won the University of Illinois 2026 Data Viz competition. The Big Ten Academic Alliance contest is open to faculty and staff, and 11 schools are vying for the top honor. The competition is part of Love Data Week, an annual and international celebration of data.
